How To Make a Toy Story Cake

Easy directions for making this toy story cake:

Bake a sheet cake the size that you need.

Ice the cake in white icing using a cake spatula and making sure that the surface is niche and smooth.

Toy Story Cake Using blue food color spray (also known as color mist), spray the top and sides of the cake.

To make the planets, hold the green food color spray close tot the surface of the cake and spray.

Do the same with the blue food color spray. Let it dry completely for about ten minutes.

With an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw Buzz Lightyear on the cake top with the alien.

You will be using the star tip, size #18 to do all of the fill in work and the round tip, size #5 to do all of the outline work.

Use white icing and fill in Buzz’s eyes wand teeth and the white parts of his space suit.

Also, do the three eyes on the alien’s face.

With black icing fill in Buzz’s hair, pupils of his eyes, and inside of his mouth. Also fill in the alien’s pupils and the top part of his head.

Now fill in Buzz’s eyebrows with brown icing.

Make a dark blue icing and fill in the neck and shoulder part of his space suit. Also fill in the alien’s shirt.

Fill in Buzz’s face with flesh colored icing.

The square on the front of his space suit is filled in with light blue icing.

The two circles on the space suit are filled in with red icing.

The rest of the space suit and the alien’s head are filled in with a Kelly green colored icing.

Fill in the yellow patch with the star tip and then with the black icing and round tip, print "light year" on top of it.

The smile on the alien’s face is put on with the round tip using black icing.

Also do the corners of Buzz’s mouth.

Now use white icing and the round tip and draw the circle around Buzz’s head that is the globe of his space suit.

Make dots for the stars and a few crossed circles.

Change to a star tip and make a shell border around the top edge of the cake and the bottom edge of the sides of the toy story birthday cake.
